Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Pokeka Tracker ("we", "the operator") handles your information in our iOS app, website (web.pokeka.app) and LINE MINI App (together, "the Service").

The Service is operated by Pokeka Tracker. We will disclose the operator's name and address without delay on request to the contact address below.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

The iOS app can be used without an account; an anonymous user ID is created automatically. If you sign in with Apple, Google or an email address, we store the identifier needed to sign you in, your email address and, if the service provides it, your name. If you choose Apple's "Hide My Email", we store Apple's relay address.

LINE information (LINE MINI App)

If you log in with LINE in the LINE MINI App, we receive your LINE user identifier (user ID) from LY Corporation and store it to link LINE to your account. We do not store your LINE display name or profile image, and we do not obtain your chats or friend list.

Data you add

We store the data you enter, such as your collection (products, purchase prices, purchase dates, quantities), sales records, watchlist, price alerts and lottery entries and results. Only you can use this data; it is not visible to other users.

Approximate location

Only when you turn on nearby lottery notifications or "Use current location", we store an approximate location rounded to about 10 km, on our servers or in a cookie on your device. We do not store your exact location or movement history. In the iOS app, your device's location may be sent to Apple's map service to look up the name of your area.

Search keywords

Keywords you enter in product search are sent with your user ID to our search provider (Algolia) and are used to show and improve results and to count searches on the free plan.

Lottery result statistics

When you record a lottery win or loss, the result is used, without identifying you, to compute win rates. You can turn this sharing off in settings.

Purchases

We store the status of your Pokeka Pro purchase (plan, expiry, transaction ID, payment-provider customer ID and similar). Apple processes payments in the iOS app and Stripe processes payments on the website; we do not store card numbers or other payment details.

Reports and feedback

We store reports you send (for example, about a wrong price), survey answers and the content of your inquiries.

Device and usage information

We collect a device token for push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), app usage (Firebase Analytics), diagnostics when the app crashes (Firebase Crashlytics) and checks that requests come from our genuine app (Firebase App Check). Usage and diagnostics include your device type, OS and app version, language and an approximate region estimated from your IP address, and are recorded with your user ID. The website uses cookies to keep you signed in (up to 400 days, removed when you log out) and to remember settings such as theme, currency and search options.

6. External Services

The Service uses the following external services and entrusts each provider with information to the extent needed for the feature.

Providers outside Japan

Your data is stored mainly on servers in Japan (Tokyo), but Google, Algolia, Cloudflare, Stripe, Apple and Slack also handle information outside Japan, mainly in the United States. Through their data processing terms and similar contracts, these providers maintain systems that meet the standards of Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information. We take the measures needed to keep their handling appropriate and will tell you about these measures on request. 7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is protected so that only you, once signed in, can read and change it. All connections are encrypted with SSL/TLS. On our side, access to data is limited to the services and permissions that need it, and we take measures against abuse.

8. Data Deletion and Retention

You can delete your account at any time from the settings screen in the iOS app, or from the account page on the website and in the LINE MINI App. Deletion removes your collection, sales records, watchlist, price alerts, lottery records, LINE link, the link between your purchases and your account, your payment-provider customer record and your sign-in credentials from our servers.

Reports, survey answers and purchase records are kept for accounting and statistics with your user ID removed. Payment records held by Apple and Stripe are handled under their own policies.

Other information is deleted after the periods below, even if you delete your account earlier:

Usage analytics (Google Analytics) are kept without a fixed end date, for statistics and to improve the Service. They are linked to your user ID but do not include your name or email address, and they are not deleted when you delete your account.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Website Analytics

When you visit pokeka.app, we count page views without cookies or local storage. Each view records the page, the referring site, your country, device type and network provider, and an anonymous visitor ID that changes every day and every month. The ID is a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, so neither can be recovered from it, and IP addresses are not stored. This data is processed on Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and is used only to understand how many people visit the site.

On web.pokeka.app, our server sends page views and feature usage to Google Analytics without cookies: linked to your user ID while you are signed in, and to an anonymous ID that changes every day when you are not.

We may update this policy as needed. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
